Waterproof and 60 feet long, the CHA EMCOMM II antenna covers frequencies from 6M to 160M, although an external tuner may be required for optimal performance. This antenna works exceptionally well in a sloper or inverted "L" configuration, and for NVIS setup (40M - 80M), it must be installed horizontally between 9 and 12 feet high above the ground.

While the CHA EMCOMM II does not necessarily require a ground-plane, it will enhance its performance with one. A ground terminal is available for this purpose. Specifications for this antenna include a frequency range of 6M - 160M, power handling of 500W SSB or 250W CW, and a weight of 2.0 lbs. The antenna system includes a CHA EMCOMM II V2 matching box and 60 feet of Copper Tinned KEVLAR wire (-70°C to 150°C).
