Operational notes include that this antenna is designed as a mono band antenna specifically for the intended band. Operating outside of this band without a tuner is not recommended. Tuning is best done using an antenna analyzer connected to the far end of the coaxial cable. Start by removing the small counterpoise wire and determine the resonance of the antenna. Add the stub only if needed to adjust the resonant frequency, similar to tuning a dipole antenna.
