CHA EMCOMM III PORTABLE

The EMCOMM III Portable antenna is a specially designed High Frequency (HF) antenna for portable and man-pack HF communications, ideal for various outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, tent camping, RV camping, as well as military, government agencies, NGOs, MARS, CAP, ARES/RACES, SATERN, and amateur radio operators involved in field communication and disaster preparedness. With configurable NVIS communication support, the EMCOMM III Portable antenna is suitable for most ALE, frequency-hopping, and spread-spectrum modes and operations, although an antenna tuner or coupler may be necessary in some situations. Deployable in less than 15 minutes by the operator in the field using any available support without the need for masts or guying, the antenna system includes a matching transformer, a 73-foot antenna wire on a line winder, and a 25-foot counterpoise, creating a highly portable and efficient HF antenna system.
